COSMETIC BROW TATTOO PRE & POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

ALL SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETIC PROCEDURES ARE MULTI-SESSION PROCESSES.

An initial application is incomplete until after a follow-up appointment, which must be scheduled

approximately 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment. There may be an additional charge for

the follow-up appointment after your initial application if it is not included in your service price.

1st follow up is recommended to be performed within 2 months of the initial application.

Two or three applications may be required to achieve the desired results. It is common to

lose up to 70% of the color on the first application.

While your skin heals, be prepared for the color intensity to be significantly larger, sharper, brighter, and/or darker than what is expected. This is a normal and is the result of the application

and healing process. The healing process will take several days to complete, depending on

how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place.

Before the treatment:

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen within 24 hours of treatment

  • Do not drink coffee, alcohol, or energizing drinks on the day of treatment

  • Do not workout right before your appointment.

  • If you are used to getting your brows tinted, do so 3 days prior to the treatment

  • Do not tan or sun bathe for a minimum of 1 week before treatment

  • Do not wax 2-3 days before treatment

  • Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 2-3 weeks before treatment

  • Wash your hair before the treatment, as after you cannot contact your brows with water for 7 days (I do provide 2 shower shields to help wash hair during the week)

  • FOR LIP BLUSH: Please make sure the week of your appointment to heavily moisturize your lips every day (thick agent like aquaphor or neosporin) and exfoliate (lip scrub) your lips at least once a day to ensure lips are smooth. Please drink lots of water the week of your appointment to ensure lips are hydrated. If you lips become too dry, it is possible ink will not penetrate as easily and outcome will not be consistent. If you are prone to cold sores please take your antiviral 3x a day for 3 days before you appointment and 3x a day for 3 days after to minimize the chance of a breakout.

After the treatment:

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN FOR MICROBLADING AND POWDER BROW (GENERAL AFTER CARE BELOW)

  • Do not contact with water or any other liquids for 7 days after the treatment (this also means no SWEATING)

  • Disinfect the area with small amount of solution provided by AZ beauty studio and wash brows gently 3-4 hours after initial appointment and continue to do so until solution is empty.

  • Take a clean paper towel and dab gently on your brows to dry of all water.

  • Apply a light thin layer of ointment provided by AZ beauty studio morning and night for the 7 days.

  • Once they are healing, brows might become itchy. please refrain from scratching!

  • After 7 days, you can use gentle soap or non-greasy cleaner to keep eyebrows clean.

  • Do not use other ointments, cream with vitamins, or antibiotics on eyebrows.

  • No sunbathing, solarium or tanning for 4 weeks.

  • No chemical peels, mesotherapy, dermabrasion, Botox, or any other strong treatments for 4 weeks after or before appointment.
